BLESSING OF THE TOYS

January the 4th, the second Sunday following Christmas is a special day at St. Thomas.    In the 10:30am service we do something that is very special, every child has the chance to bring a special toy(minus batteries) and have Father Jim bless it. They will bring it to the front of the church and tell Father Jim how much they like their new toy and how much fun they will have playing with it and sharing it with their friends.  This is a special time for everyone as it gives the congregation the opportunity to see Christmas through the eyes of a child.
