As you know, this year - for the first time in many years - St. Thomas was asked to host the ECW Fall Gathering for the Charleston, Charleston-West and Orangeburg Deaneries. Over fifty people attended from places as far away as Orangeburg and Beaufort. Many of them were visiting our church for the first time, and I think all appreciated the hospitality for which our parish family is known. It was a very successful event, even if, at times, it did take on a life of it's own! A successful event doesn't happen by itself, it takes a team ... and, once again, I was blessed to be part of an amazingly supportive team. So many people worked so hard at various stages, that it's impossible to list them all, but I hope each and every one of you know how much your time and effort blessed this event.
As the visitors left, many of them commented that it was one of the best Gatherings for a long time ... our team's hard work was a key factor, and our parish family can be proud of the way we represented them.

THANKS!
A huge thank you to all who have helped with any part of the Lenten Suppers.
Words cannot begin to express how grateful I am for your kind support.
We will be having our simple Soup and Bread meal on Palm Sunday after the
combined service. We will need about 12 pots of soup. If anyone feels that they

who kindly agreed to assist with hosting the Habitat-for-Humanity Dinner in honour of the Florida students who will be working in our area.
