WHY THE VESTRY NEEDS…..

YOU!!

Have you been asked to run for the 2006 Vestry? Have you refused?
Have you been thinking of running for the Vestry? Did you change your mind?
Please read on….
Our Vestry has individual skills and talents, but we know that together we make a team.

Individually we are strong, as a team we are strongest.

If you think your particular skills/talents are insignificant, think again….because your skills may be unique to the group….you can help make a difference.
St. Thomas is beginning an exciting new phase as the Building Committee confers with the architect to explore the possibilities for our campus. The Building Committee will eventually submit their recommendations to the Vestry. The Vestry, representing the parish, will have the final say. It goes without saying that the Vestry's task will be unique, and crucial to the strengthening of our church. It also goes without saying that we need a dedicated group of caring people to represent St. Thomas.
Even though we publish the Main Points from each Vestry meeting, we often hear the following lament:

"We never know what's going on with the Vestry!"

Well, here's your chance…..we will have five vacancies to fill for the 2006 election.

Have you been asked to run for the Vestry? Did you say no?

Have you been thinking of running for the Vestry? Did you change your mind?

Please reconsider…

Please submit all nominations to this year's nominating committee:
